There are many ways to exercise – and just as many purposes with the exercise. It can be physical exercise to improve the body’s physical strength and endurance, or mental exercise to make the mind stronger and more enduring. Today, yoga and variations of yoga is offered all around the Western world, and it combines both purposes of exercise.  


Did you know that the bow pose, or dhanurasana in sanskrit, strenghtens the spine while simultaneously improves its flexibility? The pose also tones the legs and buttocks since the strength of these muscles is what lifts the body.  The bow is an anti-aging pose, and makes the body look and feel younger, and holds the back and shoulders strong and upright longer no matter what age or condition the body and mind are in!
